According to cnn.com, South Carolina plans on releasing a license plate that says "I believe" on it, which is based on the above Florida design which was rejected by the state. But, all is not lost as the group, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, which includes Christian, Jewish and Hindu clergy, filed a federal lawsuit last month claiming that this violates the constitutional prohibition on favoring one religion over another or non-religion. Too bad there's no non-religious group that could have chipped in (hint hint).
